The organizer of the “Seize the opportunity of Open Villages” Contest (hereinafter “the Contest”) is Tehnosol d.o.o., Zgornje Pirniče 45D, 1215 Medvode, Slovenia (hereinafter: the Organizer).
The mission of the contest is to promote the Open Villages trademark and the offer of their new tourist product – “Glampyarding” in the Slovenian countryside. The objective of the contest is to encourage interaction with the trademark, bookings of Maxis and getting to know the incredibly rich offer of locals whose doors remain open to the guests of Open Villages, 365 days of the year.
Participants may enter the Seize the opportunity of Open Villages contest from 18 December 2020 up to and including 30 April 2021. The contest takes place on the www.odprtevasi.si website, while it is communicated and marketed on social networks of the Organizer and through other communication channels of media partners.
To participate in the contest you have to be 18 years old, from Slovenia or abroad and have to book at least a 3-day reservation (2 nights) for a stay at Maxi up until and including 30 April 2021, through the www.odprtevasi.si website.
All participants who also pay for their reservations no later than until 20 May 2020 shall participate in the final draw to win 2 prizes.
An individual may only enter the draw once.
The winner is the person who is randomly drawn in the contest.
All Internet users who are of age and accept the conditions for participation may participate in the contest.
Participation is free for participants but they shall cover their own costs of online participation (e.g. data transfer, internet access costs etc.).
Participants shall submit at least a 3-day (2 nights) reservation for a stay at Maxi for the period from 1 June 2021 onward on the website www.odprtevasi.si until no later than 30 April 2021.
Upon making a reservation, the participant shall also fill out an online form with his/her contact information.
By submitting the booking and the form, the participant part takes in the contest.
By paying for the booking no later than 20 May 2020, the participant enters the draw.
The draw will take place on Tuesday, 25 May 2021 on the Organizer’s premises in the presence of a 3-member committee.
The draw shall include all participants who fulfil the conditions stated in items 3, 4 and 5 of the General Conditions of the “Seize the opportunity of Open Villages” Contest.
3 winners will be selected in two consecutive draws.
The Organizer shall inform the winners of the results in writing, to the e-mail address they provided on the online form, no later than 31 May 2020.
The Organizer shall also publish the names and surnames and country of residence of both winners on the website www.odptrevasi.si, no later than 31 May 2020.
The Organizer shall provide 3 prizes:
3x WEEKEND STAY at Maxi (2 nights).
The prize winners can make use of the prize until December 2021 following prior coordination of their check-in date and stay with the Organizer. The winners shall cover the arrival and departure costs themselves. The prize is not transferable or payable in cash.
For the purpose of receiving the prize the winners shall provide their personal information, including their personal tax number, to the e-mail address , namely no later than 14 days following notification of the contest results. If an individual winner does not provide his/her personal information to the Organizer by the end of the required deadline, it shall be deemed that he/she does not want to receive the prize and thus loses the right to the prize. In such a case, the Organizer shall not be in any way liable to the prize winner and the prize will not be awarded.
By participating in the contest, the participants agree in advance that in the event that they win, the Organizer can publish their names, surnames and country of residence on its website www.odprtevasi.si.
The Organizer shall not be liable for:
Network failure of its contractual partners, electrical network failure or other technical issues which could temporarily disturb the use of electronic mail, the Internet or other services;
Any kind of consequences participants would suffer due to participation in the contest or the draw;
Any kind of consequences which would occur during the use of their prizes, accuracy or inaccuracy of the user’s data or concealment of receiving the prize.
For the duration of the contest, the Organizer shall collect personal data which is an integral part of the online form for booking a stay at Maxi, also for the purpose of the draw and for the purpose of notifying the winners on the outcome of the draw.
Based on the consent to process personal data, the participant expressly agrees and consents that the Organizer, as the personal data controller, may use his/her personal data (name, surname, country of residence) in the event that the participant wins for publication on the Organizer’s website and that his/her e-mail address will be used to notify him/her that he/she has won. In the case that the prize winner is liable for payment of tax in accordance with the Income Tax Act, the Organizer shall use the personal information (name, surname, permanent residence address, tax identification number) for the payment of the income tax advance and provide the information to the competent tax authority.
The Organizer undertakes to process and protect personal data in accordance with the applicable Personal Data Protection Act and the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and shall use such data solely for the purpose which is evident and described in the rules or conditions.
In the case that the participant demands the deletion of his/her personal data prior to the end of this term, the Organizer may still be obligated to process it in case there is another legal basis for such processing. In order to retract from participating in the contest, the participant must provide a written request to the e-mail address
In the case that the participant demands the deletion of personal data prior to the end of the contest or withdraws his/her consent for the processing of personal data, it shall be deemed that he/she withdraws from participation in the contest.
In addition to the Organizer (its employees), the personal data is also processed for certain tasks with regard to the processing of personal data and is carried out by contractual partners performing IT services whereby they are also obligated to act in accordance with the law regarding processing and protection of personal data. They may only process data associated with the contest as instructed by the Organizer and may not process personal data for their own purposes. They are, together with their employees, obligated to protect the confidentiality of the personal data of the participants.
In accordance with the Income Tax Act, prize winners are liable for the payment of income tax. For both prize winners, the Organizer shall pay the advance for the income tax in accordance with the applicable national regulations for contest prize winners. Possible income tax surcharges in accordance with the annual income tax order shall be borne by the prize winners.
By participating in the contest, it shall be deemed that the participants agree with the General Conditions of the “Seize the opportunity of Open Villages” Contest.
The Organizer reserves the right to change the conditions if so required due to technical or commercial reasons or due to public demand. The Organizer shall inform the public of possible changes to the contest by publishing it on the website www.odprtevasi.si and by sending an e-mail to participants. Participants may send complaints regarding the contest via e-mail to .
Any possible disputes arising from the contest which are not able to be resolved by common accord, shall be resolved by the competent court in Ljubljana. These terms shall enter into force on 15 December 2020.
